DermaSweep: Brushing Away Imperfections
DermaSweep is a three-step microdermabrasion procedure. In addition to removing dead skin cells from the epidermis, your skin’s top layer, it also includes applying hydrating serums called SkinFusions.
This customizable treatment can target dryness, redness, fine lines, oily skin, laxity, and more. By improving circulation, the process encourages greater lymph drainage, flushing toxins away from your skin and improving nutrient distribution.
Recovery Time
DermaSweep is done in-office and requires zero preparation or downtime. However, you will need to wear sunscreen (SPF 30) after treatment and avoid any exposure to hot water, saunas, and exercise for at least 48 hours.
In addition, we encourage you to avoid any skincare products that contain acids and retinoids that could irritate your treated skin.
HydraFacial: Cleansing and Infusing
HydraFacial is similar to DermaSweep. It exfoliates, cleanses, and infuses your skin to boost collagen production. The biggest difference lies in HydraFacial’s use of a vacuum-like device to dislodge unwanted dirt, sebum, and oil from your pores.
Because it is so effective at cleansing the skin, HydraFacial is often the preferred treatment for individuals with acne, enlarged pores, or sensitive skin.
Recovery Time
Similar to DermaSweep, HydraFacial recovery requires you to avoid exercise and sweating. You will also want to avoid acid-based products and exfoliants for at least 48 hours.
